On May 14, 2026, at the 38th Annual Meeting of the International Society for Gynecologic Endoscopy (ISGE) held in Algiers, North Africa, the "Alliance of Tumor-Fertility" (Alliance of Tumor-Fertility) was led by Professor Wang Jianliu of Peking University People's Hospital and jointly initiated by top experts from many countries around the world Preservation, abbreviated as ATFP) was officially established. This marks a new stage of global multi-country cooperation in the field of reproductive tumors, escorting the fertility dreams of young cancer patients around the world.

With medical advances, the survival rate of cancer patients has increased significantly, but the risk of fertility loss faced by younger patient groups has become increasingly prominent. The data shows that between 1975 and 2021, the incidence of gynecological malignant tumors in the global reproductive age group is increasing, while the mortality rate is decreasing. However, there is a huge gap in clinical reality: 66% of young patients are concerned about impaired fertility, and only 20% have access to professional counseling and 4% of intervention.
"Tumor fertility protection is the mission entrusted to us by the times and patients." Professor Wang Jianliu, Founding Chairman of ATFP, emphasized, "The establishment of ATFP, just like the meaning of its logo, aims to protect the lives of patients and protect the hope of childbirth through our joint efforts. ”
The alliance was established based on the deep accumulation of Chinese teams in the field of tumor reproduction. Professor Wang Jianliu's team pioneered the "4R" concept of endometrial cancer (reversing tumors, preserving organs, rebuilding function, and achieving fertility), successfully shifting the treatment mode from radical surgery to organ function preservation. Its innovative "one antibody and three reduction" program (progesterone antagonism estrogen combined with hypoglycemic and lipid-lowering and calcium-lowering therapy) has achieved a complete remission rate of 90% in endometrial cancer conservation treatment. This success has extended to the fields of breast cancer, hematological tumors and pediatric bone tumors, and the team has also completed the cryopreservation of ovarian tissue in young (20-month) children around the world, igniting hope for the continuation of life.
The Alliance of Tumor-Fertility Preservation (ATFP) is an international academic organization established with the support of the International Society of Gynecologic Endoscopy (ISGE) and the first official academic alliance focusing on tumor fertility protection under the ISGE framework.
The alliance was led by Professor Wang Jianliu, Executive Director of ISGE and SIG-Gynecologic Oncology Leader, with full support from the ISGE Committee.

The alliance brings together experts from more than 20 countries in the fields of gynecological oncology, reproductive medicine, gynecological endoscopy and minimally invasive surgery. At the launching ceremony of the alliance on the same day, experts at home and abroad witnessed the official establishment of the alliance through a combination of offline and online.
The establishment of ATFP marks a new stage of international and multinational collaboration in the field of global reproductive oncology. The alliance will uphold the core values of academic integrity, public welfare and patient first, and promote the standardized development of reproductive and endocrine function protection in cancer patients around key directions such as academic cooperation, guideline formulation, technical training, clinical research and international exchanges, and build an important platform for young cancer patients around the world to protect their fertility hopes and improve their long-term quality of life.

ISGE President Professor Anneli Linnamägi spoke highly of the establishment of the ATFP. According to Wang Jianliu, chairman of the alliance, in the future, ATFP will focus on three core tasks:
