2008年9月，在台北的IUGA会议上，IUGA的秘书长Dr Davila教授应本站邀请向中国的同道们介绍了在台北举办的IUGA会议以及IUGA的情况。

Hi, my name is Dorctor Wily Davila,I am the secretary treasure of the International Urogynecological Association（IUGA）.We are having an annual meeting here in Taipei，so as an international association，whose mission it is to expand and increase urogyneclogical knowledge around the world，we must be in asia on a rotational bases. Now we are here in Taiwan. This is the largest international meeting of the urogyneclogists covering topics from urinary incontinence, vaginal prolaps, bladder pain, overactive bladder and other problems associated with the pelvic floor in women .The membership of IUGA is over one thousand five hundreds members from all countries around the world. We published international urogyneclogical journal which is the main journal dealing with Urogynecology .We have multiple education of programs at a very basic, as well as advanced level around the world. We look forward to going to China and near future to be able to share knowledge, have some conferences, may be do some surgeries with our colleges in China. Hopefully，when we go to China we will not have a big typhoon like we had here in Taiwan. During the first few days of this meeting，the typhoon did not affect us too much，but suddenly… the meeting has been very successful. And we hope to one day we'll have a similar annual meeting in China. I look forward to a meeting all of our colleges in China in near future，and be able to share some experiences and some knowledge.
